Corrections & Retractions Policy
Introduction
ClinSphere Journals is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. When significant errors or research misconduct are identified, the journal will take appropriate action to correct the published literature in a transparent and timely manner.
Corrections
A correction may be issued when an article contains errors that do not invalidate its scientific findings but require clarification or amendment. Examples include:
- Typographical or factual errors
- Errors in author names or affiliations
- Incorrect figures, tables, or supplementary files
- Minor data or formatting errors
Corrections will be clearly linked to the original published article.
Retractions
A published article may be retracted if there is clear evidence of:
- Plagiarism
- Data fabrication or falsification
- Duplicate or redundant publication
- Unethical research practices
- Major errors that invalidate the study's findings
- Serious violations of the journal's publication ethics
Retraction notices will remain permanently available and will clearly state the reason for the retraction.
Expressions of Concern
Where concerns regarding a published article are under investigation but conclusive evidence is not yet available, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern to inform readers while the matter is being reviewed.
Editorial Process
All requests for corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern are assessed by the Editorial Office. Authors may be contacted to provide clarification or supporting information before a final decision is made.
The journal reserves the right to take appropriate editorial action to preserve the integrity of the scientific record.
