Clinical Trial Registration
Clinical Trial Registration Policy
Introduction
ClinSphere Journals supports transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in clinical research. Prospective clinical trials submitted to the journal should be registered in a publicly accessible clinical trial registry before the enrolment of the first participant.
Registration Requirements
Authors conducting clinical trials should register their study with a recognized public clinical trial registry, such as:
- ClinicalTrials.gov
- Clinical Trials Registry - India (CTRI)
- ISRCTN Registry
- EU Clinical Trials Register
- Any WHO-recognized Primary Registry
The trial registration number and registry name should be included in the manuscript.
Reporting Requirements
Clinical trial manuscripts should clearly provide:
- Trial registration number
- Name of the trial registry
- Date of registration
- Ethics committee approval details
- Informed consent statement, where applicable
Unregistered Trials
The journal may consider unregistered trials only in exceptional circumstances, provided the authors offer a satisfactory explanation. Acceptance of such manuscripts is at the discretion of the Editorial Office.
Editorial Action
The Editorial Office may verify trial registration details during the editorial and peer review process. Failure to provide accurate registration information may result in rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript.
